Mines & Minerals Exploration Corporation Ltd is a subsidiary of Ministry of Mines Govt. Of India Mini Rantna PSU-I company. It was established in October, 1998. It is responsible for surveying & exploring minerals that are used in various mining purposes. The company headquarter is located in Jharkhand and branches are located in Kolkata, Dhanbad, Raipur, Bhopal, Dispur, Gandhinagar, Bhubaneswar, Jaipur, Hyderabad, and Mumbai. The company is involved in minerals exploration and its management, mining Geology, Hydro-Geological studies. MMECL is qualified to offer better consultancy services in the fields of Iron, Coal, Lead, Zinc, Gold, etc. The company has more than 300 expert scientists, 600 Executive Engineers, 4000 field staff.MMECL has been accrediated with ISO-9001 certification. It has also entered into the MOU with many other countries & International agencies such as IMCL, UK, South Africa, Algeria, Gabon, Zambia, & Democratic Republic of Congo. The annual approx. revenue of the company is Rs.605 million, Net Income is Rs.30 million, Operating Income is Rs.24 million.
